ss HALIGONIAN BARON (7150gt) : North Sands type, built 1943 as FORT PIC by Marine Industries Ltd., Sorel (engine by Dominion Engineering Works, Montreal) for the Canadian Government, and managed for MoWT by J & C Harrison Ltd., London. 1948 – Sold to Acadia Overseas Freighters Ltd., Halifax, Nova Scotia, and renamed HALIGONIAN BARON. 1950 – Same owner, but managed by Counties Ship Management Co., London, and renamed WEMBLEY HILL. 1957 – Sold to Transcontinental Oil Transportation Corp., Monrovia and renamed CASSIOPEIA. 1960 – Ownership transferred to Transoceanic Finance & Trading Corp., Piraeus. 1961 – Sold to Oceania Industrial Corp., Hong Kong (Wallem & Co), and renamed SHAUKIWAN. 1965 – Sold to Keh Kok Sa, Monrovia, and renamed ASIA ENTERPRISES. She was broken up at Yokosuka, Japan in 1967.
