Cooking pot, or pipkin, of buff earthenware, standing on three tapered feet, globular, the upper portions incised to give a ribbed appearance, ending in a flaring, everted lip rim; hollow, spout-type handle moulded to upper body with four thumb-print indentations around the base; the base covered with a clear glaze with specks of dark green, the exterior splashed with a dark, mottled green glaze, the interior largely covered with the same glaze, of mottled appearance, ranging from pale yellow-green to a deep inky green with specklings of manganese brown; with plaster restoration to base and feet.
