Figure of General Havelock mounted on a horse facing left, heavy cream coloured earthenware with a crackle glaze, mounted on a horse, on an irregularly shaped elongated oval plinth inscribed in raised gilt capitals. Horse and figure largely white and gilt, General Havelock in military dress with gilt detailing, of black shoes, white trousers, white jacket with a green sash from left shoulder across his chest, naturalistically painted face, black whiskers and hair, and wearing an orange/red hat with flaps (a Havelock?), and resting gloved left hand on thigh and with bare right hand holding reins and resting on a orange saddle cloth, seated astride a gilt spotted horse stepping on a white ground supporting it under the belly, pink harness, black hooves and mouth.
