Circular. Black japan. Decorated with the stormont pattern in crimson around an elaborate circular rosette to centre painted in red and gold. Additional border pattern of loops, scrolls and lines. The application of a clear varnish has resulted in a golden tinged surface appearance. Black japan to underside.
