Left arm hanging down and holding a wide brimmed yellow hat, left leg resting on ground, right leg bent resting on a higher grey rock and forming a flat knee on which little Eva stands supported by Tom's right arm around her waist. Eva in black shoes, white socks, white pantaloons, showing beneath a short wide skirt patterned in purple, long sash purple striped and purple fringed sash around her waist, white bodice with gilt outlining, naturlaistically painted face, light brown shoulder length hair, turned towards Uncle Tom, with left arm around his neck, right arm clasping spray of flowers.
