Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Elaborately ornamented fragment, perhaps the head of a pin. One end is preserved but the other is broken, and only about one third of the original circumference is intact. The ornament consists of two pairs of mouldings separated by two zones each with three tapering pits. While I have found no exact parallels, the ornament undoubtedly recalls that of some ornate Roman bone pins from the IVth century site at Lydney Temple.
