Iron Age / Roman stone mortar
Irregular, roughly trapezoidal stone with a oval dish ground out in its centre which was used as a mortar. The inside of the dish is smoothed at the bottom and pitted towards the edge. The underside of the stone seems to be naturally quite flat.
