Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Blanket designed and woven by Llio James, entitled: 'Llwyd, Siarcol, Du'. Handwoven in lambswool (92%), silk (6%) and cotton (2%) with an abstract design in grey, charcoal and black.
Rectangular blanket, twill weave, made with black, grey and white yarns which are used to create an irregular geometrical pattern of horizontal and vertical stripes of black and different shades of grey (achieved by different combinations of black and grey). Edges are finished with double-turnbacks which are machine stitched using black thread.
