Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
One of two Welsh Folk Museum Answer Book, 1972, (See Ms 1741.73) received from Mrs Jane Morris, Meifod, containing stories and local history from the Llanerfyl, Llangadfan and Meifod area, Montgomeryshire. Answer Books were sent out by the Welsh Folk Museum to individuals across Wales as a way of collecting and documenting information on aspects of folk culture in their areas, including agriculture, crafts, food, customs and dialects. The responses were hand-written in the books. The Answer Books had a similar purpose to the earlier questionnaires sent out in 1937.
