Figure group, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a roughly oval rococo base moulded to resemble a naturalistic tussocky ground and with scrolls around the foot-rim, the figure group consists of a young male figure and young female figure, the male figure, with one leg outstretched behind, rests on the female figure, the male figure with wide-brimmed hat, loose shirt, knee breeches and buckle shoes, the female figure with wide-brimmed hat, bodice, skirt and buckle shoes; finely painted in polychrome enamels, both figures witrh faces and hair picked out in naturalistic colours, the male figure with black hat, puce floral decoration to the shirt, yellow breeches and black shoes, the female figure with yellow hat, gilt and red lines to the bodice, red and blue striped skirt and yellow shoes, the base painted in various shades of green, the scrolls to the foot-rim painted gilt.
