Peach coloured taffeta wedding dress bodice with narrow brown stripe. Front opening. High neck and stand-up collar. Deep epaulettes and narrow sleeves. Trimmed with black lace in vertical bands front and back. Epaulettes edged lace. Sleeves have two chevrons of lace and lace at cuffs. Collar lace covered. Worn in 1870 by Mrs Sarah Thomas of Maesteg.
