Flat cap made from plain woven black wool, made in 5 sections, 1 for the top and 2 either side, a line of piping is sewn into the seam between the top and side of the cap, all seams sewn by machine. 2 black coated metal eyelets at either side for ventilation. Black plastic peak with textured green plastic on the underside and black plastic binding around the edge, thin black plastic hat band which sits across the front and is attached with 2 white metal studs at the sides, the band is adjustable. Tan coloured faux leather forehead band attached by machine with black thread in a zigzag stitch, Black label at the back of the hat on the inside, white stripes printed at either side and the size 57 ½, also printed in white in the centre. Black and white chequered hat band (3.5cm wide) which is seamed at the back. Mink coloured polyester lining, 1 piece for the crown and 1 for the sides, the side section is quite loose.
