30-hour movement and square brass dial with silvered calendar indicator and diapter ring, the latter engraved 'Roberts Llanfair 306'; in an oak case with inlaid star motifs to centre and lower corners of trunk door in bog oak and boxwood; square hood with shaped pediment; walnut cross-banded door with ebony and holly stringing; feather banding inlay to cornice and chequered inlay to pilasters; beech finials; arcaded base and trunk door; entry in Account book of Samuel Roberts states: 'Edward Jones of Bettus his clock was finished 25th Sept 1769 Numbered 306 price: £2:5s: od by me Sam Roberts (?)
