Haynes, Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1802 - 1810)
Jug, creamy earthenware, greyish pearl-glaze, slight crazing, swelling baluster shape with slightly spreading recessed base, straight neck, spout missing, cursive angular handle with lower terminal kick and rolled upper attachment, silver lustred handle and neck, inscribed 'Hester Jones / Landeilo / 1810'in cursive script below the spout, resist decoration on each side of a large ear of barley framed by vine trails, narrow lustre band of lustre at the base, and the inside of the neck also lustred.
