horsedrawn disc harrow mounted on front adjustable-depth wheels (2) with rear travelling wheels detachable from main frame; 12 rotating saucer shaped discs, working depth adjusted by hand lever and foot plate lever; the main framework is of angle iron with holders; metal holders for weights; seat mounted upper framework, front angle iron construction has a fitting to house attachment for harness and whipple trees. No maker's name visible but probably manufactured by a small engineering works or local foundry, late19th century/20th century, acquired by vendor from a Llanhari (Mid Glamorgan) scrapyard, but originally from west Wales
