Hand operated Yale key cutting machine with wooden handle on pulley wheel. The wheel has a groove for possible treadle operation via cord drive. Shaft passes through bearing in body of machine and various cutting wheels. Can be attached at the other end, held in place by a nut. Oil point for bearing in the top centre of the bush, covered by a small coup revolving around stem. Key carrier body at front is hinged at the bottom and slides from side to side. Two keys are held in the clamps provided, the original in the left hand clamp and the blank in the right. Clamps tightened by means of large wing nut projecting from the key carrier is a turned wooden handle. The guide on the left of the machine follows the contours of the original, guiding the cutting wheel. Four co contersunk holes in base for fixing to bench.
