Papier mache head doll with kid body and legs, kid forearms and wooden lower arms and hands with seperate fingers. Painted features with blue eyes and a black pate covered by real hair plaited wig. Brass hanging earrings (later addition) tucked into hair, and a brass shaped heart locket on black ribbon is tied round neck. Wearing long black silk moire skirt, white bodice, blue/white spotted padded cummerbund/girdle.White muslin fichu and apron with seperate pockets in a lilac/brown printed cotton. Painted flower motif on handkerchief in right pocket. Under shirt of scarlet flannel another of white flannel, finally a cotton shift with broderie auglaise collar. White knitted cotton stockings stretched over the knees with red flannel garters and black shoes of gros grain and leather.
