Pot-lid, earthenware, circular shape withconvex top, the flange and underside of the lid obscured by the frame; the upperside of the lid decorated with an underglaze polychrome transfer-print of 'Blind Man's Buff' (although this title is not recorded on the lid), showing an interior setting with several figures playing Blind man's buff watched over by a group of seated figures to one side, to the top of the scene is the inscription "IV / L / K Rd. j / 6" printed within a diamond shape forming part of a lighting sconce, any border which may enclose the print is obscured by the frame.
