Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
An incomplete and highly fragmentary inhumation of an adult possible female aged 33-45 years (extended, supine) in a plain grave. The torso is crushed.
Elements present: skull fragments, mandible, maxilla fragments (pathology: possible healed abscess?), loose teeth, tarsals and carpals, phalanges, unsided femur, L and R distal humerus, ribs, L proximal tibia, fibula, radius, scapula, L distal ulna, misc. unidentified fragments.
Animal bone, Roman pottery, and 2 'burial pebbles' were found in the grave.
