Doll wearing Welsh costume. Bisque headed doll with plaster composition forearms and a stuffed body professionally stitched. The material enclosing the stuffing has been painted pink. The lower part of the legs have been painted black with black slippers on the feet. The shoulder plate has been glued to the torso. This is a sleeping doll, open mouthed with five teeth apparent. The hair is glued to a cardboard and then glued on to the bisque. Marked 'Germany' and 'Mabel 13/0' on back of shoulder plate.

General observations: Gown made of blue white linsey-wolsey tied up at the back; red flannel cloak; crochless drawers like those made for adults.
