Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
This is the mid shaft of a long bone from a large animal. Both ends are square cut and smoothed down, the inside is hollow, making the bone tube like. The bone may be a deliberate tool, similar to the potential bone quiver (706), or it may have been caused by sea rolling.
A small amount of bark was recovered from inside the bone (2014.4).
Site Name: Peterstone, Peterstone Wentloog
Notes: Found unstratified beside PC6, just west of PC5
