Rag doll, Sudanese c.1900
One stick doll with a crusted head over thick thread hair. Neck is adorned with white, black and yellow beaded necklace and a brown ribbon which attached to the fabric arms and beads. Stick is bound in white fabric and then a large heavy cotton skirt. Under skirt is a large binding to connect the two seperate wooden dowel legs.
