¾ Starboard bow view of S.S. HARROW HILL.

North Sands type vessel built 1943 as FORT LENNOX by Marine Industries Ltd., Sorel, Quebec (engine by Dominion Engineering Works), for MoWT, managed byJ & C Harrison Ltd., London. 1946 – Transferred to the Ministry of Transport, managed by Goulandris Brothers. 1948 – Returned to Canada and sold to Vancouver Oriental Line, Montreal and renamed CARIBOU COUNTY. 1950 – Same owner, but managed by Counties Ship Management Co., London, and renamed HARROW HILL. 1960 – Sold to Empresa Naviera La Libertad, Panama, and renamed SILVER PEAK. On the 12th April 1967, she became stranded on rocks about 100 miles west of Keelung when she encountered bad weather while en route from Yawata to Hong Kong. Her crew were rescued but the ship was regarded as a total loss, and sold for scrap. (mariners-list)
