Roman pottery lamp
Figure if eight form oil lamp. Light orange/yellow slip over yellow/buff clay, glassy marron slip over nozzle and parts of rim. Wheel made body with handle added afterwards, nozzle also added after? Body has flat floor low vertical sides (as on body) the smae depth as body. Thick handle with central grove and large finger hole, neat finish, attached to the top and bottom of body wall. Complete.
