Plate from the Kremlin Service, hard-paste porcelain, circular with double-ogee profile; elaborately decorated in enamels and gilding with a black double-headed Imperial eagle on a green ground in the centre, this enclosed by an inscription in cyrillic characters on a gold band and a ring of red rosettes on gold lozenges, around the rim an outer border of floral scrolls in green and blue on a gopld ground, a blue enamelled edge.
