Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1811 - 1817 and 1824 - 1850)
Plate, earthenware, circular shape with slightly inset base, curving sides and spreading rim, slightly raised edge to the well, eight notches and lobes to the rim; transfer-printed in black with three vine leaves spreading from the centre of the well to the rim against a black ground with further vine leaves beneathe them, sprays of flowers and foliage to the centre of each main vine leaf, and sprays of flowers and foliage to the rim between each leaf, a narrow border of arcades and circles to the outer rim.
