Bowl
Stoneware teabowl, wheel thrown, applied decoration. Foot with high footring, cup shaped form waisted under rim and slightly pressed in on either side behind each applied fish. Applied decoration on either side of fish with incised scales and tail - one small fish swimming downwards, one larger fish swimming upwards. Three shallowly incised grooves below rim, filled with glaze. Thickly coated in a mottled brown and green ash glaze, foot ring unglazed.
