Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Bodice of an elaborate wedding costume. Turquoise wool fabric trimmed with white ribbed silk on front, collar, and forearm of sleeves. Back opening with 24 buttons. High satin collar with cream tipped feathers. Puffed turquoise fabric sleeves with straps of cream from the shoulders to the elbow. The silk front has multiple lines of beaded and sequinned silver tape, which is also added to the cuffs, collar and edge of bodice. One button missing. Worn in March 1894 at St David's (RC) Church, Swansea by Mrs Agnes Crowley.
