Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Socketed knife with crescentic blade, the socket and blade having been forged separately and joined by folding the flattened and flared end of the socket-piece over on itself so as to enclose the blade and by working both together. Opposed holes near the top of the socket were for securing the haft with a pin.
