Mug, of pale grey stoneware, standing on a rounded foot rim surmounted by a single rib; globular body, with a further raised rib at neck, surmounted by cylindrical neck with narrow rilling, everted lip rim; simple loop handle, the lower terminal ending with a v-shaped ridge; the interior unglazed, the exterior with a light clear salt-glaze, applied around the body with blossoms, rosettes and palmettes, all connected by twisting and looping incised stems, all appearing to branch from a central stem and to fork in either direction.
