Early Iron Age bronze socketed axe
Small mouth fragment. Heavy bi-conical collar with lower mouth moulding. No ribs, pellets or roundels visible. Sides largely absent, therefore unknown if straight or divergent. Mouth plan and face edges are curved rather than angular. (Could be an Armorican rather than a Sompting Type socketed axe).
