Flanged axe of Type Kirtomy Variant Arnhall Has exagerated side "nicks" at the base of the flanges and a slightly curved butt end in plan. The upper body has near parallel sides, which widen in a concave fashion just below the flanges and bar stop to form an axe with distinctive shoulders. The blade is markedly wider than the butt end and the sides recurve sharply near the blade. The bar stop appears slightly curved in shape on both sides. The flanges are short and curved rather than angular in profile. The surface is pitted and has a green patina.
