Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Jug, earthenware, standing on a rounded spreading foot-rim, globular body with horizontal ribbing around the lower body, cylindrical neck, beak spout with shell-like moulding to the underside, scrolled foliate-moulded loop handle with slightly raised thumb-spur; the exterior neck and body covered with a light blue ground, this then sprigged in white clay with three classical scenes, two showing putti with chariots drawn by goats and one showing two female figures standing to either side of a sacrificial fire, the lower body and foot-rim, interior neck, spout and handle covered with coper lustre, copper lustre bands around the shoulder and exterior lip-rim.
