Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
British India Lines' educational cruise ship DUNERA awaiting embarkation of children from Ilford and Birmingham among other places.
Built in 1937 by Barclay, Curle & Co., Glasgow and served as troop ship during the war before being converted for school cruises in the 1960s. She infamously transported 2,500 German and Austrian Jews to Australia in 1940, who were treated as Prisoners of War only to be returned to Britain as "Internees" less than a year later.
