Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
An incomplete inhumation of an adult male aged 40-50 years (extended, supine) in a plain grave oriented west-east. The legs are missing. The remains were lying on a large rubble fill.
Elements present: crania, mandible, maxilla, loose teeth (some are fractured, very worn), L and R clavicle, L and R scapula, vertebrae, L and R radius, R ulna, R and L heads of humerus, sacrum fragment, unsided tibia shaft fragment, 1 metacarpal or metatarsal,1 carpal, unidentified fragments.
Oyster fragments, charcoal and microfauna were separately bagged during repackaging. Animal bone was also found in the grave.
