Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Teapot, beigy-brown coloured creamware, standing on a slightly spreading rounded foot-rim, globular body, slightly raised ridge at the lip-rim with inner flange, curving spout, scrolled loop handle with raised thumb-spur, the body moulded in relief with a series of gothic arches under each of which is a chinoiserie-style figure on a geometrically patterned ground, moulded foliage to the spout and handle, round slightly domed cover with a finial in the shape of a flower head to the centre, a pierced steam hole next to the finial, the cover moulded with a pattern of lattice work and scrolls; decorated with washes of bright green, yellow and brown which run into each other under a rich glossy glaze.
