Heart-shaped dish, soft-paste porcelain, greenish paste with creamy brown translucency, shrinking back at the foot rim; waved, everted rim, the centre painted with a heart-shaped view in polychrome, comprising a lake with swimming waterfowl, a pair of herons on a reedy bank in the foreground, trees and two kennel-like bird houses to right, a cottage and two further bird houses on the far bank, and a grassy bank crowned with trees beyond, all framed with a blue line edged with gold and gilt sprays, rim with pendant leaves in gilt below a blue border and dentil edge.
