Pleistocene hyaena bone
This is the left mandible of a hyaena containing the lower left 2nd incisor, lower left canine, lower left 2nd premolar, lower left 3rd premolar, lower 4th left premolar and the lower left 1st molar all in their tooth sockets. The teeth show a moderate degree of wear. The lower part of the jaw is missing and the mandibular hinge is also absent. The bone and teeth are a creamy white colour.
