Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
One movement cooking-pot crane from Rhayader. It has a bevelled square-section vertical shaft and a plain square-section horizontal arm terminating with scroll decoration. The curved brace also terminates with a single scroll decoration. Complete with a 5 circular-loop pot chain. These were common in Wales from the 1600s until the 1950s. They allowed pots to be moved closer or further away from the fire.
