S.S. EMPIRE CELIA (7025gt). Built 1943 by Charles Connell & Co Ltd, Glasgow, for MoWT (managed by Connell & Grace Ltd). 1946 - Management transferred to Counties Ship Management. 1948 - Sold to Counties Ship Management and renamed PUTNEY HILL. 1949 - Sold to London & Overseas Freighters and renamed CASTLE HILL. She was renamed by them as LONDON STATESMAN in 1950. 1951 - Sold to Far Eastern & Panama Transport Corp., Panama and renamed MORELLA (managed by Wheelock, Marden & Co Ltd, Hong Kong). 1951 - Sold to Polskie Linie Oceaniczne, Gdynia, and renamed JEDNOSC. 1963 - Withdrawn from service and arrived at Hong Kong in April 1963 for scrapping. She was broken up by the Lee Sing Co, Hong Kong in 1966.
