Oral History interview by Dr Kate Roberts. The purpose of the recording was to get a general picture of food and work in a quarryman's home at the turn of the century.

Pysgod hallt I swper weithiau. Cino dydd Sul - cig rhost a thatws wedi rhostio. Pwdin bob amser ar y Sul. Pwdin berwi - rowlin pwdin - mewn lliain, weithiau I swper yn yr wythnos. Pwdin llo bach - disgrifio'I wneud. Defnyddio'r llaeth I olchi llawr teils weithiau. Cino dydd Sadwrn - coffi, cig moch a wy. Uwd I swper nos Sadwrn - disgrifio'I wneud reis wei'I ferwi. Bara ceirch - gwraig weddw yn ennil ei bywoliaeth drwy yrru b. ceirch yn Rhosgadfan. 7 o f.ceirch am 6 c. Tatws newydd wedi berwi trwy crwyn menyn a llaeth enwyn. Bwyd haf. Tatws llaeth - ei fwyta ar ddechrau pryd. Tatws llefrith - yn yr un dull. Diogyn - disgrifio'r offeryn I gadw pethau'n gynnes o flaen tan. Pinshons pen oen a iau. Disgrifio'r bwyd hwn yn fanwl. Cig pen oedd yr enw cyffredin arno. Llymru - y defnyddiau etc. Rhaid gadael y trwyth I suro am rai dyddiau. Gogor rhwan I hidlo'r trwyth. Sucan - defnyddio'r un trwyth a llymru ond ychwanegu siwgr a'I wneud yn fwy tenau. Bara cwrw - I wraig newydd eni plentyn yn ardal y chwareli. Und rhynion - bl. Ceirch bras. Brwes ei ddisgrifio. Pobi - padell haearn, gron I gassu'r bara ynddi. Pobty a than adani. Bara cymysg. Teisen does.
