Small embroidered sampler (referred to as a 'mini protest banner') made at a workshop led by Sarah Corbett, founder of the Craftivist Collective. The workshop, held at St Fagans: National History Museum in June 2012, was organised to coincide with Refugee Week and the Refugee House exhibition.

Printed pink cotton, with an overall pattern of red polkadots. There are two metal eyelets (one in each top corner) to enable the 'banner' to be displayed in a public space. A piece of white block weave canvas has been applied onto the cotton. The canvas has been embroidered with two daisy motifs and a quotation by Robert G. Ingersoll: 'Give to every human being every right that you claim for yourself'. The Craftivist Collective label has been stitched over the canvas, bottom the right.

A rectangle of Aida fabric (117mm x 76mm) is hand-stitched to a fine, printed, tabby-woven cotton fabric with running stitches using red embroidery thread. There is one cross stitch in each corner. Its edges are unfinished. On it is a text, embroidered in red embroidery thread. Two metal eyelets (Ø 7mm) have been inserted on the upper corners of the printed cotton fabric. These seem to have been fitted back-to-front. The printed cotton fabric is pink with red dots. It is used back to front with the printed surface on the reverse of the 'sampler'. Its edges are trimmed with pinking shears to prevent fraying. A white synthetic ribbon (width 12mm) has been stitched to the lower proper left quarter of the 'sampler' using red embroidery thread. It is also has pinked edges. It has a woven weft-faced inscription in purple. Three white flowers, two of them with yellow centres, have been embroidered in the lower proper right quarter of the 'sampler'.
