Stole
Stole worn by the Archdruid of Gorsedd Beirdd Ynys Prydain, 1986-2009. Embroidered by Mair Roderick and Mair James.
The stole is made in four main sections with seams at the sides and centre. It is made from the same cream silk as the robe with embroidery on the ends made in coloured cotton threads depicting a Welsh dragon, a verse in Welsh and mistletoe with faux pearls (some missing). The ends are trimmed with gold fringes 6cm deep. Inscribed: Y Gwir yn erbyn y Byd. Heb Dduw Heb Ddim. Duw a Digon (The Truth against the world. Without God without nothing. God is enough).
