Bottle, glazed stoneware, the body is oval in shape with the widest part being just below the shoulder, two sides are flattened to allow the bottle to lie on a flat surface, the bottle has a very short neck with a rounded, thickened rim, a hand-formed simple strap handle with an uneven, wavy edge is attached from the upper body to just beneath the shoulder; the bottle has an overall light-brown glaze, the upper half has also been dipped into a dark brown glaze, the strap handle is embellished with two horizontal incised lines, with a thumb mark at the bottom edge of the handle.
