Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Brooch with trumpet head. At the waist the bow flattens into a crude pelta-shaped plate with a central projection. Ridged moulding separates the pelta plate from the lower part of the bow, which tapers to the foot. Two mouldings define the foot, the lower is divided into three 'toes'. The pin was sprung, the axial bar supported by two pierced lugs.
