A covering letter from ‘The Llanberis Slate Company, Ltd.’ to accompany their slate price list, dated 1st January 1910. The letter has been removed from the price list, and only the letter survives. The letter informs prospective purchasers that a 10% discount is available, and a 2 ½ % discount for a cash sale. The letter is printed on cream paper. The donor’s family were timber merchants in Taunton, Somerset. They supplied timber and slate to local builders and merchants, and as a result acquired a collection of slate price lists.
