Plate, pearl-glazed, no foot-ring, printed in manganese with a merchant brig in full sail, and a smaller boat on horizon to the left. Dense border pattern of evenly spaced semi-circles with radiating flower petals on a diaper ground each diaper containing a quatrefoile, bordered on the inner side by demi-lunettes alternating with sprigs. Rim enamelled orange. Cracked.
