Bench No.7 (in press room) 50" x 21.5" x 28.5" high [Accession file description]

Six legged table/work bench with a shelf made from scrap wood nailed together. The shelf is approx half the width of the bench and protrudes 220mm beyond one end of the bench. There is a cardboard label nailed to the shelf that reads '4" Elbows'. The six legs are of differing heights. There are holes in the work top probably made to accomadate tools used in the tin smiths workshop but possibly already in the wood when the bench was made. [RP; 01/12/2008]
