ECM: Llangors; Gurci Cross (replica)
Roughly dressed pillar-stone (N-W) or slab (J.L & M.R.), fractured into three pieces; with the lower part missing and the top damaged. A.1. Pecked outline Latin cross, the horizontal arms not crossing the vertical, with the head encircled by a single ring. 2. On each side of the shaft are areas of degenerate fret-patterns, on the right more easily recognizable as a zigzag flanked by T-shapes.. A fragment of similar decoration survives above the cross head.

Site Name: Llangors Church, Llangors
Notes: Original monument was first discovered before 1874, when the chancel arch of the parish church was dismantled. It is now located lying loose (unfixed at the E. end of the S. aisle) within the church.
