Rod or verge carried by a bishop's officer, silver, comprising three seamed tubes, joined by moulded collars, the base closed and engraved with a date and monogram; the spreading head applied with three seahorse and scroll brackets and bearing an oval disc supported by a floriate animal-head scroll and engraved with an impaled coat of arms below a mitre.
